I grew up in a working class neighborhood outside Washington, DC. I have five siblings and that meant there was always a story to be told or heard.

I was an avid reader filled with imagination. I told stories and sometimes wrote them down.  In Transition (annettealaine.com) is where my poetry resides.

Autumn Leaves is a collection of my musings on everyday life for a woman of “a certain age” grappling with all of life’s changes.
