The Major League Baseball All-Star Game took place this past week in Cincinnati and I was fortunate enough to be in the city for the festivities. While I did not see any of the events in person, just being down around the ballpark and downtown in general was an awesome experience. Watching a city buzzing with baseball spirit got me thinking about those who have claimed that the sport was dying over the last decade or so, and how the recent wave of new faces might put an end to that talk once and for all.
